Experian, Transunion and Equifax are offering consumers free credit reports during the Covid-19 pandemic. Consumers are already entitled to one free credit report per year pursuant to the Fair Credit Reporting Act. However, the three large credit reporting agencies are now offering a free credit report once per week during the pandemic. Consumers should take this opportunity to keep tabs on their credit health as there is an increase in finance-related scams during these tough economic times. Consumers can obtain their report once per week from the three main credit reporting agencies at www.annualcreditreport.com during the Covid-19 crisis.
